HISTORY
This is my maternal grandfather. He lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, New Providence, New Jersey and Oxford, New Jersey.
He enlisted September 22, 1917 at age of 19 years. He served in World War I with the USA 1st Photographic Section in France from August 10, 1917 to July 3, 1919, at Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Mouse-Argonne, - Defensive Sector
Discharged July 3, 1919
He received a BS Degree from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky in 1923. He was also a member of the Techincal Staff of Bell Telephone Labs.
George Curtis PORTER did extensive research throughout his later life, from about 1945 until his death, on our family history. Unfortunately my dear grandfather did not document everything he did. So I have quite abit of information about my maternal ancestors, however, I don't know where most of it is from. So if you find something that you can document or something that you want to dispute, please feel free to reach out and touch me through this link - chris@stefanovich.com.
